Excitement was in the air when the most outstanding distributors in the electronics industry gathered on July 23 to celebrate the coveted “Distributor of the Year” awards. Who came out on top?
For the 18th time, the trade magazine ELEKTRONIK honored the best “Distributors of the Year”. The vote was once again supported by the manufacturer TDK.
Reader vote and “Sustainability” jury prize
Prizes were awarded according to the readers’ vote for overall performance and in the two special categories: Supply Chain & Digitalization. The “Sustainability” jury prize was a novelty this year. Here, the editorial team and sponsor TDK recognized three outstanding projects from the distribution sector.
Overall performance
A total of 12 Distributors of the Year were awarded in the following four categories: “Specialty Distributors for Semiconductors, Embedded, Displays and Assemblies”, “Volume Distributors”, “Specialty Distributors for Connectivity, Passive Components, Electromechanics and Power Supplies” and “Online Distributors”. The three winners in each category were ranked equally.
Special ratings
In the special categories, there were a total of 14 different winners in places one to three. The distributors from the four categories were also selected here.
