On September 17, 2024, the 12th WEKA Media Summit took place, an established event for media and marketing experts from the professional electronics and ICT industry. The event, which has established itself as a fixture in the industry calendar, offered participants a successful mix of inspiring presentations and valuable networking.

Analysis and entertainment

The focus of the summit was the lecture “Evolution for outsiders and those affected”, presented by the speaker duo Professor Dr. Matthias Spörrle from the private university Schloss Seeburg and Matthäus Hose from WEKA. The managers and marketing decision-makers in attendance listened attentively to the entertaining and informative presentation.

The speakers explored the question of how the rapid pace of technological development affects us humans and why, in contrast to evolution, we are looking to the future. The potential and limits of artificial intelligence were also discussed. Spörrle and Hose also tackled controversial topics in their presentation. They posed the provocative question of whether humanity is becoming smarter or less intelligent and discussed why AI is overtaking us and when evolution fails.

Networking in a relaxed atmosphere

Afterwards, the Media Summit offered participants the opportunity to network and exchange ideas. Over Bavarian delicacies, valuable contacts were made and ideas exchanged in a relaxed atmosphere. The combination of knowledge transfer and networking in a cozy environment makes the WEKA Media Summit a popular industry event.
