Outpatient Children’s Hospice Foundation<\/h2><\/div>

Munich, 30.11.2023 – WEKA Fachmedien, WEKA Business Medien and WEKA Media Publishing are once again supporting the Stiftung Ambulantes Kinderhospiz M\u00fcnchen this year. The Stiftung Ambulantes Kinderhospiz M\u00fcnchen – AKM has been committed to the needs, rights and concerns of families with a seriously ill child or adolescent for many years.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The team of full-time doctors, psychologists, nurses and social workers is supported by around 300 volunteers in the areas of crisis intervention, family support and public relations work. True to the motto \u201cDon’t fill your life with days, fill your days with life\u201d, the aim is to provide families with firm support during this difficult time and give them moments of safety, security and normality. <\/p>\n

The AKM Foundation is financed almost entirely from donations. Therefore: every cent counts! The foundation relies on donations large and small to provide accommodation and care for the children and their families. Only with many helping hands and generous donors can the AKM maintain and expand its services for the affected families. <\/p>\n

WEKA has been actively supporting the foundation for years. This year, WEKA Fachmedien, WEKA Business Medien and WEKA Media Publishing have once again donated a check for 5,000 euros.
\nMonika Vogt from Ambulantes Kinderhospitz M\u00fcnchen was delighted when Matth\u00e4us Hose (Divisional Managing Director WEKA Business Communication), Peter Eberhard (Publishing Director WEKA Business Medien) and Dirk Waasen (Publishing Director WEKA Media Publishing) presented her with the check on November 28, 2023. <\/p>\n

The AKM Foundation’s service is currently offered throughout Bavaria with the two specialist centers in F\u00fcnfseenland (Starnberg & Weilheim districts + Landsberg & F\u00fcrstenfeldbruck) and Munich City – it is free of charge for the families concerned.<\/p>\n
