WEKA Fachmedien GmbH has been part of the NürnbergMesse family since January 1, 2025. The change of ownership has now also prompted a change of name. The cat is now out of the bag: with immediate effect, the established media and event provider will operate under the name “Componeers GmbH”.

The new name “Componeers GmbH” is made up of ComponentsandEngineers. “Components”, i.e. components in all their diversity, including beyond electronics, are a central theme of the media and events organized by “Componeers”. The core target group are managers, buyers and, above all, developers in the tech sector. They often have an engineering background and are therefore “engineers”. In short: Components + Engineers = Componeers.

The portfolio of “Componeers” with successful events, the cross-media brands Markt&Technik and Elektronik as well as the web portal elektroniknet and a comprehensive range of services for product marketing remains unchanged, as does the company headquarters in Haar directly on the outskirts of Munich.
