SUMMARY:Cyber Resilience Act Summit
DESCRIPTION:With the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)\, the European Union has defined a minimum level of cyber security for all networked products. All products that are sold in the EU and contain ‘digital elements’ are covered by the CRA. This includes the entire range of embedded systems – from consumer electronics and household appliances to complex high-end industrial systems – if they can be connected to a network or even just to another device. \nThe CRA has been in force since the end of 2024 and must be implemented in several stages by the end of 2027 at the latest. Embedded system developers\, project managers and product managers are therefore asking themselves the question: How do I go about ensuring that my products fulfil the CRA requirements? \nAt the Markt&Technik CRA Summit\, high-calibre speakers will show you which strategies can be used to make embedded systems of varying complexity ‘CRA-safe’. \nRegister now! \nMehr erfahren

SUMMARY:Zephyr Developer Forum
DESCRIPTION:The Zephyr real-time embedded operating system is becoming increasingly popular\, and not just because of its broad hardware support. The free open source RTOS Zephyr is particularly suitable for applications in the Internet of Things (IoT) due to its very low memory requirements and offers a complete embedded development platform. \nNo wonder many embedded system developers are thinking about using Zephyr . They ask themselves: \n-Is Zephyr suitable for my project?\n-Is my hardware supported?\n-Are the real-time parameters sufficient for my application?\n-Are there drivers for the required peripheral units?\n-What about safety and security requirements? \nThe Zephyr Developer Forum\, organized and hosted by the specialist medium electronics on October 14\, 2025 in Munich\, is intended to answer these questions and provide a platform for discussing current aspects of Zephyr. \nIn addition to software and system developers\, the event is also aimed at project managers who are interested in economic aspects such as the long-term reduction in development and testing costs or the simplified scalability of the end product. \nFind out more

SUMMARY:Forum Single Pair Ethernet
DESCRIPTION:Switching from four- or eight-wire cabling to two-wire cabling is a major technical advance: Single Pair Ethernet reduces space\, weight and installation effort\, cuts costs and saves on raw materials such as copper. Even more importantly\, however\, it is a simple way to implement end-to-end communication right down to the smallest devices! The digital infrastructure of tomorrow is being created. \nThe corresponding components are ready for use in automation\, building automation and transportation applications; now the exciting implementation phase begins! What do decision-makers need to know? How does theory become practice? \nThe 4th Single Pair Ethernet Forum offers a cross-application platform to understand the technology holistically – from the component to the system. The high quality of the Single Pair Ethernet Forum is guaranteed by the editorial support of the independent trade journal Markt&Technik. \nLearn more

SUMMARY:Markt&Technik DC Conference
DESCRIPTION:Last year\, the “DC Conference: DC grids for industry”\, powered by ODCA (Open Direct Current Alliance)\, took place for the first time with great success. A lot has happened since then. The ODCA is continuing to drive standardization forward and VDE SPEC 90037 V1.0 “System Discription for DC Industry” is now available. This shows that DC for industry is widely accepted. \nThe advantages of DC networks in industrial production – the energy costs for power distribution in the factory are reduced by up to 50 percent\, the costs for copper cables also by up to 50 percent – are now well known. \nHowever\, in addition to industrial production\, direct current technology is opening up numerous other very promising fields of application in which it can also make important contributions to the energy transition. These include data centers\, lighting\, building automation\, logistics (from high-bay warehouses to conveyor belts at airports)\, semiconductor production and\, last but not least\, DC microgrids for distributed power\, for example for networking PV\, batteries and charging stations in neighborhoods. \nThe second “DC Conference – DC grids take off”\, powered by ODCA\, which will take place on October 23\, 2025 in Ludwigsburg\, builds on the success of the first DC Conference: Here you will find out how you can switch to DC grids in the various sectors now\, what you need to do so and how you can get started painlessly. \n  \nFind out more
