DESCRIPTION:Ready for NIS-2? What companies can do now  \nSince the NIS 2 Directive came into force in January 2023\, the EU member states have been required to transpose it into national law. In Germany\, this is being done with the NIS2 Implementation and Cyber Security Strengthening Act (NIS2UmsuCG)\, which will affect an estimated 30\,000 companies. The transposition deadline for the directive is October 17\, 2024\, which means that German companies will have to apply it from October 18. Time is of the essence.
