With the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), the European Union has defined a minimum level of cyber security for all networked products. All products that are sold in the EU and contain “digital elements” are covered by the CRA. This includes the entire range of embedded systems – from consumer electronics and household appliances to complex high-end industrial systems – if they can be connected to a network or even just to another device.
The CRA has been in force since the end of 2024 and must be implemented in several stages by the end of 2027 at the latest. Developers of embedded systems, but also project managers and product managers, are therefore asking themselves the question: How do I go about ensuring that my products meet the CRA requirements?
This is where the Cyber Resilience Act Summit, organized by the specialist medium Markt&Technik in Munich on October 13 and 14, 2025, will provide important assistance. It will provide comprehensive information on CRA and show which strategies can be used to make embedded systems of varying complexity “CRA-proof”.
Do you have expertise in CRA? Does your company offer hardware or software solutions with which CRA conformity can be easily achieved? Are you active in the field of certification or conformity assessment? Then we would be delighted if you could contribute to the program of the Cyber Resilience Act Summit with a presentation.
